Let's work on creating a keyword list in FrontPage and Dreamweaver.
How to create META tags in Dreamweaver
- From the Insert menu, select Head Tags
- Select Description, type the description and click OK
- From the Insert menu, select Head Tags
- Select Keywords, type the keywords (use commas) and click OK
- View your source code.
How to create META tags in FrontPage
- Open the page that you want to create META tags for in the FrontPage Editor
- Right click on the Page and select Page Properties
- Click the Custom tab
- In the User Variables click Add
- In the Name box, type description
- In the Value box type the description of the site that you wrote
- Click OK
- Click Add again, In the Name box, type keywords
- In the Value box type the keyword list you wrote, separate each list item with a comma, click OK
You're done! View the document source to checkout your new META tags.
