The Contra Costa Times Career Builder section featured a short article on Webmaster salaries and job trends. In the article they stated the national outlook for Webmasters jobs are "expected to grow much faster than average through 2010". The East Bay outlook is also good " The increasing need for Webmasters in the East Bay reflects the national need: "Large and small companies, non-profit organizations and government agencies will require additional gurus to maintain increasingly complex Web sites." For the full article see the bulletin board in the classroom. Another article in the same section of the Times discusses the temporary job market. It says when talking about the cut in temporary assignments that "If anything, workers should be using the lull to brush up on new skills and earn new certifications".
