This week we went to the Berkeley Botanical Gardens. The gardens are really beautiful, I bet they're even nicer in spring when everything is in bloom.

This was an example of following the lines. The stairway leads you somewhere, kind of mysterious? I liked the shot. I took quite a few shots of stairs and paths at the gardens. I was laying down on the ground quite a bit.
This is another example of following the lines. This picture was taken at Monticello Hydroelectric Project in Solano County.
This is my example of framing. I liked the fence and the meadow beyond was very pretty. This was taken in the gardens.
I don't know that this image really follows any of the lessons that we learned, but I liked the two birds sitting almost exactly the same and the third flying in. This shot was taken at the Berkeley Pier.
This is another example of framing. I thought you could really feel the depth of this photo. This was taken in the redwood area of the gardens.
