Photos were taken with a Fuji FinePix F601 Zoom (click here for camera specifications). Photos were taken on August 30, 2002 in Solano and Napa Counties, California. Images were re-sized to 300 x 225 and 640 x 480 and saved with a compression value of 30%. Click the images below to see a larger version of the photo.

I stumbled upon this peacock yesterday at Solano Lake and chased it around for about 20 minutes. I didn't have time to change any settings on my camera so this image definately needs some help.
After Shot Quick Fix After Shot Sharpness Feature
Paint Shop Unsharp Mask
Radius =.99 - Strength=159 - Clipping=16
The background of this image was too bright. I tried playing around with the automatic settings, but I couldn't get the result that I wanted. I added and Brightness/Contrast Adjustment Layer - Brightness=0 - Contrast=11 - Opacity=87
Original mountain image. The mountains were very washed out. Applied Color Balance (Strength=50, Temp=5000/per Ron's instructions), Contrast Enhancement (Darker, Normal, Natural), Clarify (Strength=2), Saturation (Normal, Normal), and Sharpen. I also used the After Shot Quick Fix on this image, but I didn't see any difference from the original so I'm not posting the results.
I was pretty happy with this image of Solano Lake. Applied Color Balance (Strength=30, Temp=6500), Contrast Enhancement (Neutral, Normal, Natural), Clarify (Strength=2), Saturation (Normal, Normal), Sharpen
I was also pretty happy with the color in this image I applied the same adjustment settings as above, but I think I lost some color in the deal.
