| I
stumbled upon this peacock yesterday at Solano Lake and chased it
around for about 20 minutes. I didn't have time to change any settings
on my camera so this image definately needs some help. |

The
background of this image was too bright. I tried playing around with
the automatic settings, but I couldn't get the result that I wanted.
I added and Brightness/Contrast Adjustment Layer - Brightness=0 -
Contrast=11 - Opacity=87 |

| Original
mountain image. The mountains were very washed out. |
Applied
Color Balance (Strength=50, Temp=5000/per Ron's instructions), Contrast
Enhancement (Darker, Normal, Natural), Clarify (Strength=2), Saturation
(Normal, Normal), and Sharpen. I also used the After Shot Quick Fix
on this image, but I didn't see any difference from the original so
I'm not posting the results. |

also pretty happy with the color in this image |
I applied
the same adjustment settings as above, but I think I lost some color
in the deal. |
