UseIt or LoseIt - I have been reading a lot about web usability lately including Steve Krug's Don't Make Me Think, great book! If you have read anything about the subject you will have heard of Jakob Nielsen and his book Designing Web Usability. There are definitely two sides of theory on usability. This site is spoof on Nielsen and is really pretty funny.

The Art Mill - The Flash movies on this site are really outstanding. Please be aware that a lot of the content on this site is religious.
Lissa Explains It All - An excellent site devoted to teaching kids HTML, Frames, Tables, CSS, JavaScript, plus other fun HTML code. This is a great spot for beginners. There is also a very active forum.
HTML Goodies - I know that I have recommended this site in the past, but I just received my June 3 edition of Goodies to Go. It was packed full of useful information on optimizing your web pages, CSS & Form tips, etc.
PC World has an informative article about Protecting Your PC. Contains information on Anti-Virus, Firewall, & Anti-Spam programs.
Pirated Sites - This site spotlights sites that are VERY similar in design to other sites already on the web (i.e., design has been pirated).
If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area and you're interested in learning more about web design and development, graphics, or computers in general, consider taking classes at the Contra Costa ROP Technology Center.
