Cramsession.com - If you're thinking about taking your MOUS (Microsoft Office User Specialist), MCSE, Cisco, CIW, Novell, Linux or other computer related certification test, this is a site that provides FREE study guides. I have reviewed both of the Word guides and I found them to be concise and helpful. (I've taken the Expert level Word test and they would have been nice preparation tools if I had known about them!) The guides are in both PDF and HTML format, there is even a Palm version. I tried to visit their affiliate site http://www.brainbuzz.com, a site for IT professionals that has tests and other resources, but unfortunately I was not able to view any of their sample tests. If Brainbuzz is as useful as Cramsession, it's worth a second try.
FindTutorials.com - Has many tutorials for web design/development. The tutorials are free, but the training courses are not. The site has job listings, but they're based in the UK.
TutorialHound - An extensive tutorial portal. Tutorials for Paint Shop, Flash, HTML, Java, JavaScript, ASP, XML and more. Tutorials are written by various authors. Another tutorial portal that's worth checking out is TutorialLand.
JavaScript Source - Free cut 'n' paste JavaScripts that you can use on your sites. If you can't find what you're looking for here, check out their affiliate site ScriptSearch.com for even more JavaScript, ASP, XML, PHP and other source codes. While we're on the subject of JavaScript, the JavaScript Weenie has some easy to understand tutorials and articles on JavaScript and DHTML. It's also the place to find out how to make your pages wiggle and giggle with Wacky HTML.
Yale Style Manual - This is the original Web Style Guide. Packed full of useful information on typography, optimizing graphics, site structure, navigation and web design in general. The site is NOT about making graphics, it IS about the design, structure and layout of a page/site. The site is supposed to be updated sometime early this year, but the information that you will find there now is very relevant.

Draac.com - A Complete Guide to HTML - I stumbled on this site when I was searching for examples of the bgproperties="fixed" tag. I like their straight forward approach to HTML tags. There was a very nice HTML Extras section that had a lot of handy HTML samples (using the back and reload button in code, creating a favorites icon, pre-filled email links, meta refreshes, and others. They even have coding examples of various table and frame layouts.

PriceGrabber.com - Do you shop online? This is a terrific site to search for the best pricing on the Internet for computer hardware, software, digital cameras, scanners, PDAs, televisions, video cameras, DVDs, toys, video games, books, movies and more. Another similar site is Price Watch which searches for the best pricing on computers and accessories. Barbara, this site is for you!
