12/29/01 - I know that a lot of you are into making various crafts. My web site pick of the week is the Crafters Community. It's an amazing site! There are message boards, chat groups, projects, tips, recipes, book reviews and various other resources!

12/20/01 - Jesset.com - Not only is the site well designed and laid out, but it's a step-by-step guide to creating web sites. You definately, want to take some time to explore this site. Here is just a sample of what you will find at Jesset.com: Navigation, page structure, writing content, graphics, color blindness, new technologies, site structure, page structure, Dreamweaver and Photoshop tutorials, css, dhtml, and this list goes on!
SiteCritique.net - This is a site that has thousands of users reviewing web sites. They also have web development resources, product reviews, a magazine, and other resources for web masters. Membership is free, join now!

12/19/01 - PayPal - is a easy to setup way to accept credit card payments on your site. The really nice feature of PayPal is that in addition to credit card payments, customers can also pay via their checking account. Setup is free, there is a nominal transaction fee. Payments are automatically deposited into your checking account. It's an easy way to setup a shopping cart for your site.
12/17/01 - ZD Net - has been on of my favorite sites for years. If you're looking for product reviews, computer news, downloads or anything else that has to do with comoputers this is the place to go.
Cartoon Anatomy - Learn how to cartoon at this great site. There is a Grinch tutorial that's just too cute. Challenge to you all, see if you can draw it using Paint Shop Pro. :)
Dreamlink Web Design Guide - I really like this site. The design is very clean and the content is great. They have brief, but relevant tutorials on design, style, content, creating navigation, and promotion. Take the time to visit this site and read the articles and tutorials.
Charity Focus - Looking to create more sites for your portfolio? Charity Focus is a non-profit orgranization run by volunteers that builds web sites for other non-profit organizations. They also have a really great web site planning worksheet here. While we're on the subject of planning, here is a another web site planning worksheet and a web site content worksheet.
Directory of Webmaster Resources - There are a lot of links on this site for webmasters. The site features an alphabetic listing of resources from ad tracking software to web site promotion.
12/14/01 - Web Design Goodies - This site has HTML, JavaScript, CSS, CGI, DHTML, XML and ASP tutorials. It's a great site with lots of resources. Be sure to check out the Web Design Goodies Newsletter Archive.
Site Experts - This is a community of web designers/developers. There are discussion forums, site critiques, user groups, product reviews, and web development tools.
C|Net Builder Site Critiques - Ranks sites on Usability, Navigation, Graphic Design, Content, Compatibility, Load Time and Functionality. The critiques are written by a variety of writers.
12/7/01 - Commission Junction - Earn cash through referrals to various web sites.
Linkdup! - This site showcases other web sites with outstanding design. If you're looking for ideas on how to use Flash, this is a great place to start. I was pretty amazed by some of the sites that they had selected.
37 Signals - Design Not Found - This site critiques other web sites (typically major companies), gives the site either a thumbs up or thumbs down vote. If the site received a thumbs down vote they explain, in detail, why they didn't like it and they give recommendations on how to fix it. Very cool!
