We have so many people attending the Wednesday Topic chat @ 9:30PM EST (social chat at 9:00 p.m. EST) that we thought it would be a good time to set some guidelines for the chats so each person can be heard and the speaker is not interrupted with things that the chat is NOT about. These guidelines are only for the topic chats on Wednesday nights or a if we schedule a special event chat.
- The speaker has the floor at all times. If you find that you need to ask a question, please wait until they are finished with their thought.
- Please do not disrespect the person who is speaking, whether it be a speaker or another person. If you have a problem contact one of the moderators, Debbie, Tom or Jean, and they will take care of it.
- Please let the speaker and everyone express their opinions in a safe environment, sometimes we get very personal and want to feel that the information shared is not going to leave the room.
- Due to problems with spam, please do not reveal your e-mail address in the chatroom. Send your e-mail address privately to other members via TalkCity Chat or MSN. You can also send your e-mail address to Debbie at debbie12564@yahoo.com and she will forward it to the person that you want to get in touch with.
