I have been dealing with a ton of comment, referrer, and trackback spam on this blog. I decided to install Spam Karma 2 on the blog and in order for me to do that I had to upgrade the WordPress install to the latest and greatest. This threw the entire layout off, so it was time for a change.

I visited the WordPress theme browser and found this beautiful theme by Vladimir Simovic and decided to use it. This theme will allow me to change the banner images and colors easily depending on my mood.

Upgrading the blog got the RSS feeds working, so now I can tweak with those. I’ve also decided to use a robots.txt file to remove my jpeg images from the Google index. Too many people are hotlinking to my images and it’s starting to really use a lot of bandwidth. So far everything seems to be working well, Spam Karma is the bomb!
