Sandy has finally started being a bit more sociable. She had spent the last week hiding in the crabitat. She and Iggy are now getting friendly and I found them sleeping together yesterday morning. Quite the couple.

The Crabitat
I have been working on getting Iggy and Sandy’s new crabitat. I think it’s a pretty cool home for hermit crabs. For those of you looking for information on hermit crab care, visit the Hermit Crab Association forums.

Thirsty
Iggy has a partner, it’s name is Sandy. My girlfriend and I both got hermit crabs when we went shopping at the mall on Monday. Unfotunately, her daughter didn’t think the crabs were as cute as we did, so I inherited Sandy. I don’t have any pictures of Sandy yet, she hid as soon as we put her in the tank. It all worked out, I was going to go buy a parner for Iggy anyway. I created a new crabitat home for Iggy and Sandy. I setup a 10 gallan aquarium for them and I’m learning all about the care of crabs.
