This weeks Theme Thursday is about space. I’m a computer trainer for our local city government, I train all the employees on how to use MS Office, etc. Walnut Creek has open space areas. Today I went out to the Sugarloaf Open Space to help Ranger Bruce with some Word issues. We’re pretty lucky to still have these beautiful open spaces in our area. The outhouses are for my buddy, Tom, he collects them.

Patty, one of my students, brought me this beautiful Freesia. The aroma from the flower is just incredible, wish you could smell it. I went out and bought some Freesia bulbs today, planted 24 in the backyard. I should have one sweet smelling backyard by spring.

One of my students, Rami, was kind enough to bring me some succulents to start in my garden. She has brought quite a variety and is teaching me about care and propagation. What a sweetheart. I have an old stump in the backyard and I thought I would try and plant a succulent garden in the stump.
