There are a lot of viruses being sent via email right now. Today I opened my email and out of 56 messages, I suspect eight of them had a virus attachment. The questionable files did not have a traditional paperclip attachment symbol, but they were over 100 KB in size. The W32Klez virus seems to be the biggest threat at this time. A Klez virus removal tool is available at Symantec's web site. For more information on viruses, click here.

I have created a message forum for the web design class. At the forum you can ask questions and share information with your fellow students. I have set up the following discussion areas: HTML, Dreamweaver, Graphics, General, JavaScript & CSS, and an area to post your web sites and ask for feedback from your fellow students. The forum address is http://pub34.ezboard.com/bropweb and is available 24/7.

Today my site http://www.putertutor.net was featured in the Houston Chronicle's Hotlist of Technology sites! Woohoo! Cay Dickson has also put together a useful list of Windows XP resources in addition to her other regular Hot Lists that you should check out. There is even a Hot List for Yodeling. Yes, I said Yodeling. I also found some very interesting sites via her What's Online Archived Articles.

Our new vacation schedule is available here.
4/18/02 - After our discussion today I did a search for some resources on Windows XP. While the overall reviews of XP are favorable, take the time to read some of the user forums on the sites below to see some of the issues that users are facing with XP. You make your own decisions about choosing XP as your next OS.
| Windows XP User | PC Mag New Windows |
| TweakXP | Microsoft Support |
| Windows XP Developer Center |
After doing a little more XP research, I found some reviews that weren't so favorable.
4/11/02 - Posted a Web Designer position on the job clipboard (next to the microwave)
